Good news! We were contacted by Sarah Barnard of the Irvington Presbyterian Church’s Board of Deacons. Last fall they did a Crop Walk, which is a fundraising walk aimed at eliminating worldwide hunger. Since there’s hunger right in these Rivertowns, they’re sharing some of the proceeds with our Pantry. Thanks so much, again, to the people at Irvington Presbyterian. Next fall she suggested that Irvington Presbyterian and South Presbyterian could join together to do a Crop Walk. Sounds like fun, and worthwhile!
