The Dobbs Ferry community and neighboring villages are filled with generous people, and we appreciate your interest in volunteering at our Wednesday morning food pantry. Currently we have 25 loyal volunteers who work weekly, but if positions open up, we’ll contact you. So email us at dobbsferrypantry@gmail.com.
There are other ways to help us make sure our neighbors-in-need get healthy, nutritious food. Would you like to do a food drive with friends or neighbors? Here are some tips. Are you good at fundraising and have an idea for one? Email us! Or are you a social media whiz? Help us get the word out that people need food in Dobbs Ferry and the surrounding villages and we’re here to help. And if you’re skilled at writing grants, please email us.
And if you really want to work at a food pantry, you can register for a shift somewhere in the county by visiting Feeding Westchester’s volunteer page. This food bank supplies 175 food pantries and is part of Feeding America. You can also email them at volunteer@feedingwestchester.org or call 914-923-1100.
