Where is the pantry located?

The Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry is located just outside of the sanctuary at South Presbyterian Church at 343 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, New York.

How can I/my organization contact the pantry?

You can contact the pantry at dobbsferrypantry@gmail.com,  (914) 693-0473, (914) 522-1154 or fax at (914) 693-7497 for any other information you might need or questions about donating.

What foods does the pantry need?

We are constantly looking for donations of specific foods throughout the year. To find out what we need at the moment, feel free to email us or check out our donations page for more information.

What are your hours/days?

We are open from 10:00 am-12:00 pm every Wednesday, and 5:30-7:00 pm on the last Wednesday of the month in addition to our morning time. Donations can be arranged to be dropped off at any time during the week.

Can I organize a food drive on behalf of the pantry?

Yes, of course! Food drives are one of the best ways to collect food for the food pantry. However, please contact us to make sure that no other food drives are going on during the time of your food pantry.

What is the time of greatest need for the pantry?

We need the most donations during the summer, when many people are on vacation and do not think of donating, and when children in need especially need more food because they do not have school lunch.

  1. Valarie Kagan says:

Hello, can I donate canned goods such as progresso soup?

    • dfpantry says:

Valarie, thank you for thinking of the Pantry. We could use soup if it hasn’t expired. The church is usually closed unless the Pantry is in session. They will be there this coming Monday around 10:00 because they’re expecting a delivery from Feeding Westchester. Would you be able to drop it off on Monday? Here is my cellphone number – 914-522-1154. Call me if there’s a problem. And thanks again.

  2. Mimi Mathew says:

Do you accept premie diaper & formula donations?
If so, when is the best day/time to donate these items?

    • dfpantry says:

Mimi, thank you for thinking of us! We would be happy to accept the premie diapers and the formula if it hasn’t expired. We’re usually at South Presbyterian Church on Monday mornings from about 10:00 until 11:30, waiting for deliveries of food from Feeding Westchester, and also on Wednesdays from 8:30 until 12:30 while the pantry goes on. Can you drop the diapers and formula off on one of those days?
